Attracted to a guy from my local pub PDF Print

Written by hoping he likes her

i am very attracted to a guy from my local pub and we have known each other now for about 3 months. We only see each other in the pub about once a week. Trouble is although we get on really well and I feel he likes me, I am not sure if he fancies me. He will always have 2 drinks (because of the drinking limit) and then leaves after this. I would think that if he was interested in me he would hang around. He did tell me once that he is slow in warming up to someone. We are both divorced, (no children involved) similar age,(late 40's) so where can I go from here. I always appear cool as I dont want him to run a way if he thinks I am too keen, but who makes the first move in this one?

I don't have enough information to provide you with a comprehensive answer.

It seems that you do not know him well yet. And as he is slow in warming to someone, he probably needs plenty of time before he will fall for a woman. (He has probably had a really bad time with women in the past, particularly as he is divorced).

I think you need to give him and yourself time to get to know each other before either of you jump in and make a move.

He has to make the first move, but you also have to tactfully Show you are interested occasionally.
