my boyfriend text and talk to his ex girlfriend daily, he told me that he is taking her to dinner for her b-day, without me.

Ouch that is bad, I can understand a guy meeting up with their ex-girlfriend occasionally and chatting on the phone occasionally but communicating daily, that is just silly.  Who ditched who?  If she ditched him, then maybe he still has a thing for her, but if he ditched her then I don't see the logic in communicating with her everyday.  I could understand him not wanting you there when he does see her, because really it's going to produce bad vibes between you both and there will be things about his relationship with her, that he won't want you to know.  But meeting up on his own with her without anyone else, seems a bit odd to me.

is that ok? they dont have kids, they were 4 years at his house. he still pay her bills.

WHAT?  He still pays her bills, is he having you and her at the same time.  How can you possibly pay a woman's bills if you don't live with them and don't go out with them.  Is he a sucker for women or something? 

as he says she is needey. i feel it's wrong.

It is wrong, I could understand, if they were married or she had his children, but still paying the bills for your ex-girlfriend is just completely wrong.
