In this scene, the guy is a little keener than the girl. While she is smiling and has her head angled encouragingly, she has her shoulders hunched forward. If she was more interested she would have her shoulders pushed back, showing off more of her chest. She would also be resting her hands further up her legs. He looks very interested but maybe he is just crowding her space a little too much for her comfort.
